SEMESTER 2 06/07

Never that i thought this semester going to be so rushing and tiring.Ironically, even though this semester kills u with its long period and numbers of assignments awaited to be completed, yet i simply enjoy the busy and happening atmosphere.The first week was quite a hardworking period for the excos of ASSIIUMERS (Ass. of s'pore students in IIUM)as we prepared for the welcoming programme for the new students. Subsequently, it was also the time where we actually revealed the new post of the new excos.Haron got appointed to be the president, sis seri as the vice president, aisyah 'spec' and fadiah as secretary 1 and 2 followed by izhar as the person in charge of self development da'wah and sports, suli as the pesron in charge of welfare, sis qadar as financial controller and finally me as the person in charge of public relation.

Before we realise it, its already the mid term week cum ummatic week, so we were forced to juggle between out studies and activities.As this is my first time witnessing the ummatic week i must say it was a great cultural exposure to all of us and the best part was that i won second prize for ummatic week contest!! marha marha!
The contest actually made us to explore all the the 30 booths located near the cultural activitiy centre in IIUM in order to obtain the answers for all 30 qtns.Besides the 30 qtns, we have to think of a theme for the ummatic week itself.Meanwhile, Nabilah won the first prize hehe, basically the Mahallah Asiah residents grab up the prizes.hehehe!

UPDATE SEMESTER 3 05/06

Ok guys,my apologies for not updating for quite some time.I'm getting busier nowadays so guess that i have to make just a brief update heee... well semester 3 ran out smoothly alhamdulillah.My results turn out to be something which is quite unexpected but ok alhamdulillah.Later,our DTE(Down to Earth) trip to Singapore was a success alhamdulillah! After the trip i was busily preparing for the orientation week for the new students which took about 2 hectic weeks.Being in the registration commitee we had to deal with the list of new students, latecomers, shortage of batik, fussy students bla bla but well it was a worthful experience.And that was the first time i was appointed to become MC for the islamic revealed knowledge and human sci.kuliyyah briefing(department) and once again during the sis cultural night. Somehow, I miss those days :)
