wahihi hoho,
I am so free! Just as when other people are forcing themselves to wake up early in the morning, busy attending classes, back up classes bla bla..lectures, mid terms..i'm enjoying myself resting in my home sweet home.i was lucky enough for both of my lecturers were absent for the whole week thus i have an unofficial 1 week holiday yahoo!!!
but well, holiday is'nt merely a holiday, i need to study for my upcoming mid terms, exams...the challenges that u face at home is much more stronger as u have to force yourself to keep the descipline within u especially when u r studying and the laptop is in front of u :P
ok ok enough with that,i would like to share with u guys an interesting article regarding marriage in arab world.haha
i was fascinated yet surprised enough to know that the arabs spent hundreds thousands of dollars for their wedding.According to The Middle East magazine, it was known that in UAE, 80% of the personal debts existed in the country resulted from the people's wedding expenses.
For example, in Dubai the wedding expenses can reach as high as up to 240,000 dirham ($123,000)!!! i thought all this while the malays in singapore kept arguing about (duit hantaran) that sometimes reach up to $10,000-$15,000..and this excluded the wedding expenses itself like the props, caterings, karaoke, djs bla bla...wahoho
i can't imagine ($123,000) ??? i would rather buy a sport car or yes..perform hajj the whole family.$123,000 for weddign expenses..what a choke!!
