-a new day has come-
Gosh,it has been a long time since i last blog in.Suddenly, i have passed the year 2005 and now facing eith the new challenges and adventures of 2006.ok, i bet most of u wanted to know how is it life going for me in Kl. By the way, alhamdulillah i find it great to be in the new environment. Welcome to the garden of knowledge and virute! It is a place where we rule our our own rules, play our own games and songs.
Dated 22nd november 2005, tuesday,it was my first time stepping in IIUM.Initially i felt nervous and excited at the same time. Finally, after all the hard work and struggle,i have survived the primary test of entering the new life which is being accepted by IIUM and seeing the many faces of people coming from different countries and backgrounds somehow made me think that albeit our different hopes and dreams, we shared a common destiny. We are meant to be the residents and the members of the IIUM :)
The orientation week ran out smoothly, i got to make friends from various countries and backgrounds.People like sharmila, an indian resident from arab saudi, siblings naila and adnan from united states, nusaibah from phillipines, hanat from nigeria, meriem from eritrea etc. It is indeed a symbol of united colours in IIUM.
On the other hand, the orientation week is also considered as hectic week where we got to 'swallow' final preparations for our EPT (english placement test),APT (arabic placement test), TPT(Tilawah placement test) and FKT (fundamental knowledge test). It was tough at first sight as each test needed us to go through a few stages in order to complete the whole test process. It was considered as my secondary test of the year. But alhamdulillah, i've managed to pull through and have started my kuliyyah as a 1st semester 1st year student :)
Never did I thought that the academic calendar in university would be so fast hence making me breatheless most of the time. It was like for a moment you were about to relax when suddenly assignments, tests and tasks flow drastically towards you and you were expected to complete all of the above mentioned at the same time.I guess i'll be posting the same question a ridhwan did....>>i wonder why some people said that university is much easier than A level..hmm???? any valid answer for that??
Nonetheless, i'm lookin forward for more adventures to come..yeap more exciting experiences await in my none other beloved second home>>IIUM :)
